Rituals

Categories: Marketing

The term hearkens back to religious ceremonies or secretive club ceremonies. It’s actually not that far off from what goes on in many organizations.

Rituals are practices that are done over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again to beat the goals of the organization into the heads of its members. Some of them might also be done to annoy people because somebody, somewhere, has a sick sense of humor. It happens. At times, these rituals can be overly cheery, and can throw people off if they haven’t had coffee or some type of energy drink.

They can also be catchy and help with brand recognition, so as torturous as they can be, they do have actual use. Hopefully, they don’t involve sacrificing chickens.
