Simple Structure

Also known as a Flat Organization (not like the Earth really is). There’s just not a lot of levels in the organizational chart…if there even is an organizational chart. Authority is relatively loose.
There aren’t a lot of departments, if any at all. Many small businesses have a simple structure. There will be an owner and some employees. The owner really has all of the authority. Different people may have different jobs.
There could be salespeople, an administrative assistant, an accounting/book keeper, and a delivery person…but there are no bosses among them. There's the owner…or manager, in the case of an owner who wants to play golf and jet ski all day while letting someone else worry about squabbling, and other pesky things…like customers.
