Single-Digit Midget

Categories: Trading, Stocks

Oh, it used to be so loved! Whatever.com was trading for $123 at its peak. But then there was a techlash, and the D.C. people didn't like the fact that Whatever.com sold every bit of data it had every collected about everyone to that Nigerian Prince. You know the one. He wants to be your friend waaaaay too intensely.

So Whatever.com missed a few quarters. Revenue went from growing 100% a year to declining 10% a quarter. And now the stock trades at 8 bucks: a single-digit midget.

Yeah, it's not very PC anymore, but how would you feel if you'd paid $100+ for this stock and now it was just staring at you, asking for 5 grand to unlock a $100 stock price.

Oh, wait. That's still the Prince. Nvm.
