Stored-Value Card

You wanted to pay totally anonymously on the web. There was a particular set of, um, "art films" that you wanted to download via premium service. But you didn't want your name attached to those transactions directly. So you went to CVS or Target or the grocery store and paid $100 cash to buy a stored-value card.

The card operates just like a debit card and continues paying until there is a zero balance left on it. So when you found said "art film" website, which demanded a credit or debit card number before you could download...you were able to type in the card number and its PIN, and then download to your heart's (or other organ's) content, until that $100 of value was exhausted.
