Tax Season

Spring is in the air—birds a-chirping, flowers a-blooming, and 420 around the corner. Oh yeah, and it’s tax season. Between your first hangover of the year and April 15th is considered tax season, which is when we all have to submit to the annual confusion of tax returns. Uncle Sam expects your tax return by April 15th latest, but you can request an extension if needed. While the rules change depending on the law, the IRS for now says that if you make an income of at least $10,000, you’ll have to pay federal tax.

Protip: keep your prior tax returns for at least 3 years in case the IRS decides to poke its nose into your stuff in the form of an audit. Besides that, it also usually makes next year’s tax return easier (filing taxes really isn’t like riding a bike).
