Technical Job Skills

Categories: Education, Tech

Technical job skills are what you and robots have in common, also known as hard skills. They are things that take time and practice to learn, such as using a computer, coding, a foreign language, or knowing how to operate something. Anything that you wouldn’t know naturally that took time to learn is probably a technical skill.

What you and robots don’t have in common (for now…)? Soft skills, which have to do with how you handle/come off in social situations.

While technical job skills have been touted for years, more and more articles are popping up emphasizing soft skills (since the robots are coming for our jobs with automation and stuff). Either way, technical job skills and soft skills in some form are needed for most jobs. Get your tech on.
