Total Permanent Disability (TPD)

This is bad. That oak tree is always going to win versus your Prius. And yeah, that whole texting-and-driving thing was a really bad idea. So your spine was severed about 5 rungs down. You'll live, but your quality of life won't be...great.

The only good news: you have total disability insurance, i.e. a policy that now covers, well, everything. Your nurse. Your...bag changes. Your breathing aparatus. Your tube feedings. It does not, however, cover the lawsuit from the 650-year-old tree owner (the tree's age, not the owner's) against you for killing it.
