Underpayment Penalty

You have $1,252 on your credit card. You have a minimum required payment each month of $34 now, with that amount owed. But this month, you sent in only ten bucks. (Tips were low in the barista den.) So you have an additional $20 tacked onto what you owe as an underpayment penalty.
Huge profits to the credit card company in tacking these on. Don't like those extra fees? Then either don't buy the set of belly button rings at the mall, or pay off your full credit debt each month. Easy. RIght?
