X-Mark Signature

Signing page after page after page of a contract or document can get a bit tiring. Your signature starts to turn into an imperceptible blur, your hand starts to wonder about the meaning of life. Then you realize, “hey, I should be glad I can even sign things. What do people do who can’t sign things?”

The answer is X-mark signatures. X-mark signatures are where a person can legally sign an X as their signature for some reason...like, if they can’t read and write, or if they have a disability that prevents them from being able to sign like most people (although most people sign with a scribble you can’t read anyway).

To make the X-mark legit, it needs to be witnessed. Or else: fraud, and stuff.
