Xetra

Categories: Forex, International

Germany decided to be extra-special in 1997 when they made Xetra, a flexible, electronic securities trading system. Besides the usual stocks, funds, and bonds, Xetra also offers warrants and commodities contracts. Because it’s...extra.

Xetra is used on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, but also on other European stock exchanges, even reaching to Shanghai. Everybody can use a little extra sometimes. Xetra has proved to be so great that it makes up most (think: 90+%) of all stock trades on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, which is one of the oldest exchanges in the world. Nbd.
