Along the Nile Delta, where the papyrus is green and the water runs fast, you might catch a glimpse of the shimmery, silvery Hatmehit. She's a fish and a goddess, as well as the wife of Mendes's resident sex god, Banebdjed. (Guess she's not a cold fish, huh?) She's a love goddess in her own right, and a goddess of the boundless riches under the sea. Er, river. Something like that.
