- And here it is, the big moment: John is accepting the Nobel Prize.
- He gives his acceptance speech. He thanks Alicia in particular for making that award possible, and takes out that same handkerchief from their first date to show her.
- Pretty sweet, eh?
Scene 57
- After the ceremony, they prepare to leave.
- John sees his old "buddies" Parcher, Charles, and Marcee.
- Alicia notices that he sees something, but he says it's nothing at all.
- As they leave, we get some text telling us what became of John and Alicia.
