A Late Aubade

Appreciate the Small Stuff

Wilbur is just as in touch with the cosmos and all things "big," important, and existential as the next universe-pondering poet (see "Love Calls us to the Things of This World"), but he also takes the time to appreciate the simple joys here on earth. Love seems to be one of those sweet and enduring human emotions that Wilbur really likes to celebrate. This poem is a perfect example: there's nothing more important in the world to our speaker than being with the person he loves. So keep this poem in mind for anniversaries and last-minute Valentine's Day ideas. (You're welcome.)
