Exactly how steamy is this story?

On the one hand, there's no actual sex in this story.
But, on the other (cold, dead) hand, the story fairly reeks of necrophilia. Miss Emily has been lying in bed with a corpse for the better part of forty years...and we think that there's a pretty good chance things moved beyond first base. Yuck.
