Alex Cross's Trial Steaminess Rating

Exactly how steamy is this story?

PG

Let's face it: There's no afternoon romp in this book. Sure, there are some references to Ben thinking about how beautiful his wife looks in her nightgown, or how much time he likes spending with Moody (wink, wink). There's even a passage on what Ben remembers from his first kiss with Elizabeth. But all that lip locking doesn't go anywhere because we never get any further than Ben thinking about sex.

The one exception? When Moody comes right out with her thoughts on the matter. Check it out: "At last Moody said, 'You know I ain't never gonna sleep with you'" (73.24). Notice how direct she is about her feelings for Ben. And sure enough, nothing really happens between the pair.
