- Jane comes outside, and Carolyn asks if Jane is trying to be unattractive. Ouch. Carolyn also gets snippy with Lester, as does Jane. According to Voiceover Lester, they both think he's a loser.
- They drive to work, and Lester is snoozing in the backseat. Voiceover Lester remarks on how "sedated" he is here… but also says that it's never too late to get your life back.
