Louis Ironson Timeline and Summary

Louis hooks up with Joe.
He has a dream that Joe is a Mormon and is freaked out to learn it's true.
At Jones Beach, he debates politics with Joe.
He ends up leaving Joe on the beach, telling Joe he needs to see Prior.
Louis calls Prior and asks to speak to him. He tries to talk about things with Prior but gets shot down.
He meets up with Belize and learns that Joe is associated with Roy Cohn.
Louis does a bit of research and reads the legal decisions Joe has ghostwritten for Roy. He's appalled by them.
When Louis confronts Joe, they get into a fight, which ends with Louis getting beaten up pretty badly.
Louis goes to Roy's hospital room at Belize's request. He says the Kaddish for Roy, then smuggles Roy's AZT stash out of the hospital.
He visits Prior and tries to get back together with him, but Prior rejects him.
Much later, in the epilogue, he talks about how awesome Gorbachev is.
