Rise is Jesse's BFF. Wait a sec, scratch that last F. It's probably more accurate to say that Rise is his FBF (Former Best Friend). See, Rise has sort of morphed into a terrible person—he's all about dealing drugs and turf wars these days. This transformation causes Jesse mucho angst, and he really grapples with letting Rise go.
