How It All Goes Down
- We're whisked back to the present day, where Jahanara's granddaughters want to know what happens after Jahanara's mother died in childbirth.
- Well, Jahanara's father locks himself in his room for two solid weeks and emerges a broken man. Literally. His eyes are so damaged from the weeping that he needs to wear glasses to shield them.
- When he does emerge, though, the dude is motivated. He's ready to hire the empire's greatest architect, Isa, to build a paradise in which to bury his love.
