Thornton Timeline and Summary

Thornton saves Buck from death by club/starvation/will to die.
He gets in a bar fight but is saved by Buck.
He almost drowns, but once again, is saved by Buck.
Thornton wins a ton of money by betting Buck can pull an enormous load.
In an attempt to get rich quickly, Thornton and his friends search for gold and some lost cabin.
Thornton et al. are killed by natives.
