Castor and Pollux (The Dioscuri)

Castor and Pollux (The Dioscuri)

Castor and Pollux (or Polydeuces) are tight as tight can be. From the day they hatched out of the same egg, these twin boys have been inseparable. Also known as the Dioscuri, the twins were pretty major Greek heroes and were worshipped all over the place. We can see why. Not only did they rescue their sister Helen from Theseus, they also helped hunt the Calydonian Boar and went on the Quest for the Golden Fleece with Jason and the Argonauts. These days, the Dioscuri are kicking it together in the sky, where they watch over sailors and horsemen as the constellation Gemini.

Which one our parents love the most.

And I'm proud of you both,
in so many different ways."
