Exodus—one of the most influential books in Western history—is only 32,692 words long (source). That's shorter than The Great Gatsby.

Exodus is the first time in the Bible where God reveals his name, YHWH (3:14). That means that in Genesis, God never actually told anyone his name. Pretty crazy, right? P.S. No one's really sure how to pronounce these letters, so you'll hear it spoken in a bunch of different ways.

There's no archaeological evidence for a mass migration on the scale the Bible describes, but we do have a lot of other cool evidence that puts the story into context (like the records of Egyptian pharaohs). (Source)
