Jason Bock Timeline and Summary

Jason gets punched by Henry and sees the water tower from a fresh perspective.
He starts the Church of the Ten-legged One (CTG), recruiting followers Shin, Dan, Magda.
One night, Jason climbs the water tower with Henry, who shows him how. He makes Henry part of the CTG.
He tells Shin, who is hurt about Henry being part of the CTG and that Jason went without him.
So Jason tries to help Shin climb it. No go.
One night he holds Midnight Mass on the top of the tower. All but Shin make it up and swim inside the tank. Henry falls to the catwalk.
Jason's grounded, alienated from Magda, has no contact with Dan, and Shin's mad and weird.
After swearing he'll never climb again, Jason climbs the tower because Shin is on top and a storm looms.
Jason and Shin swim in the water tank for protection during the storm. Shin tells Jason all the doctrinal details he has "channeled" from the One-legged God.
After the storm ends, Jason climbs down and has to call cops for help because Shin won't leave the water tank. Shin spends time in psych ward.
Still grounded. Still alienated from friends. Not permitted to see Shin.
Jason smarts off to Henry at then mall when he sees him there with Magda. Henry hits him in head with crutch.
Recuperating in the hospital, Jason realizes that while he still doesn't believe in anything, he envies those who do have faith in something.
