Truman Doctrine: Good vs. Evil Quotes

Note the way in which "free peoples," "free institutions," and "national integrity" are all used in the same sentence. These are important ideas for understanding the argument about why capitalism is better than communism.

Why does he emphasize this present moment? What's with that word "free" again?
