Raji

At first we think all Koly feels for Raji—the helpful rickshaw driver who tells her about the widows' house—is little more than a puppy love crush. But pretty soon we see that much more exists between them. Though Koly's reluctant to admit it, she develops deep feelings for Raji before long as they spend time time reading, exploring, and getting to know each other. Raji is markedly different from Hari in that he genuinely cares about Koly, showing patience and appreciation for who she is and what she wants in life instead of only caring about his own dreams.
