The Kids (Amy/Nick/Little Russ/Ron)

It's hard to pinpoint a single protagonist, as pretty much every character goes through a positive story arc over the course of the film. You could even make the argument that Wayne is the protagonist. Still, given the film's focus on the kids' adventures, we think that they fit the bill most prominently. Furthermore, given that the movie's primary demographic is kids, these are the characters the audience identifies with most.
