Toswiah Green/Evie Thomas

While Toswiah/Evie's family members are also pretty big characters in hush, they aren't the main character. We hope they'll turn out all right, but we're just not as deeply invested in them as we are in Toswiah/Evie, and we're concerned about them mostly as they relate to her. If we had to pick a side, we'd pick Toswiah/Evie's, without thinking twice. And that's how we know she's the protagonist.
