Exactly how steamy is this poem?

The beach can be a sexy place. Alas, this beach isn't. All and all, "The Idea of Order at Key West" isn't a very steamy poem, unless you imagine it is a humid evening at the shore. The setting has potential, but the action is much more cerebral than physical. (Although they do say that the brain is the body's most intense erogenous zone. That's why Shmoop is so sexy.)
