Abe's Children
Abe and Mary have four sons together, and only one makes it to adulthood: Robert Todd Lincoln (born 1843) survives; Edward Baker Lincoln (1846) dies at 3 years old; William Wallace Lincoln (1850) becomes Abe's favorite and dies (thanks to vampire poisoning) at 11, which especially crushes Mary; and Thomas "Tad" Lincoln (1853) dies in 1871 of tuberculosis.
The kids don't have much of a role in this story except to motivate Abe. Robert gets his dad to quit vampire hunting, and then Willie gets refrigerated, which only drives Abe to hate vamps even more.
