Tris makes Matthew create a diversion, so he fires a gun straight up into the glass ceiling. Wouldn't he basically end up shredded like Julianne Moore in The Hand that Rocks the Cradle?
With Caleb in tow, Tris rushes to the Weapons Lab, but she decides not to let him sacrifice himself.
Tris grabs the backpack and decides to do it herself. Who knows? She might be immune to death serum.
Tris leaves Caleb behind and runs for the room. She smacks the explosives on the wall and blows her way in.
It goes pretty smoothly, giving Tris the confidence that she can see this through to the end.
