It's almost spring break and Margaret is getting ready for Florida. That is, until the letter comes.
From Margaret's other grandparents.
It seems they've decided to reply to the letter Margaret's mom sent them at Christmas, and they're rethinking the estrangement and would like to visit… while Margaret is supposed to be living it up in Florida. Ugh.
Neither Margaret nor her dad is particularly happy about the upcoming visit, and Margaret is super peeved that she'll be missing out on fun in the sun with the grandma that didn't abandon her and her family.
Margaret has a talk with God, asking if this is punishment for her being so mean to Laura.
