Chapter 39
- For a school assignment, Crash writes an essay about Scooter and what he was like back in the good old days.
- In class, Penn leaves his own essay on his desk while he goes to talk to the teacher. Mike grabs it, wads it up, and tosses it to Crash.
- Crash un-wads the essay and reads it. It's about Penn's great-grandfather, who's his best friend. Aw.
- Also, the essay says that Penn's great-grandfather is coming to visit soon. Penn wants to surprise him by winning the Penn Relays, which takes place during the visit. So that's why he's been running every night.
- After class, Crash gives Penn the essay.
