Chapter 39

For a school assignment, Crash writes an essay about Scooter and what he was like back in the good old days.
In class, Penn leaves his own essay on his desk while he goes to talk to the teacher. Mike grabs it, wads it up, and tosses it to Crash.
Crash un-wads the essay and reads it. It's about Penn's great-grandfather, who's his best friend. Aw.
Also, the essay says that Penn's great-grandfather is coming to visit soon. Penn wants to surprise him by winning the Penn Relays, which takes place during the visit. So that's why he's been running every night.
After class, Crash gives Penn the essay.
