The Webbs keep asking Crash to hang out, and Crash keeps on saying he's busy. Eventually, they stop asking.
Years pass, and Penn—whom Crash refers to as "Webb"—moves on and finds other friends. The boys are in middle school now.
Crash makes a new friend, Mike Deluca. Mike lives on the block and is a lot like Crash.
One day when Mike is over at Crash's place, they see Penn wheeling his turtle by in his wagon.
Crash tells Mike all about Penn. Mike seems intrigued. Uh-oh. We've got a bad feeling.
