Joram the carpenter works with Mr. Omer. He's the one who builds the coffin that holds Mrs. Copperfield and her infant son. He also winds up marrying Minnie Omer. By the end of the novel, they have a son, Joe, and a clever daughter, also Minnie, who is the apple of her grandpa Omer's eye.
