Mr. Chestle

Mr. Chestle is an unattractive older man who Miss Larkins plans to marry. He admires David's boldness in asking Miss Larkins to dance so many times and invites David to come visit his hop-selling establishment (hops, by the way, are an ingredient in beer). Sadly, David is the last to know that his much-admired Miss Larkins plans to marry this elderly gentleman.
