Mrs. Crupp

Ms. Crupp is the owner of the apartment building David rents rooms in when he first gets his proctor job in London. The rooms are nice, but Ms. Crupp is not. She makes it her business to do as little as possible for David, but she still gets resentful and annoyed when the other women in his life (notably Peggotty and Miss Betsey) try to tidy the rooms for him.
