• Blomkvist arrives at Erika Berger's about 5am. Her husband Greger Beckman answers the door in surprise. Berger comes down the stairs. Blomkvist tells Berger and Greger about the murders.
• Blomkvist, Berger, and the rest of the Millennium staff think Dag and Mia's work on sex trafficking might have gotten them killed. They were exposing high officials and mean pimps.
• They plan a private investigation into the murders and plan to publish Dag's work at a later date.
