In Warsaw, Kat meets up with Abiram Stein, who is an art expert. He also knew Kat's deceased mother. Before she died, of course.
Kat shows him the security cam footage of the stolen paintings, and Stein identifies the paintings.
He confirms that the paintings were, indeed, stolen. Not just stolen, but "traded for terrible favors in terrible times." (14.79) Yikes, like what? Tickets to a Ke$ha www.keshasparty.com/ concert?
Stein doesn't elaborate, but he drops another bombshell: the Henley, a prestigious art museum, was robbed too. And the police are looking for the following suspect in this burglary: Visily Romani. Who else?
