After watching Keiko's family leave, Henry walks around Seattle trying to figure out what to do next. He's definitely not going back to school today.
He runs into Sheldon again, who says he's sorry for this whole situation and that this war will end, just like all wars do.
They walk to Nihonmachi together, and it's eerie to find all the streets and shops empty. Everyone is gone.
The sight of Japantown just reminds Henry of all the time he's spent with Keiko here. Then Sheldon pulls out his sax and starts playing a song to all those empty streets, adding a soundtrack to Henry's heavy heart.
Henry listens for a while and then waves goodbye to Sheldon and heads home. Before he gets to the apartment, he stops to buy his mother a flower.
