Mrs. Peniston's niece and Lily's cousin. Grace is an example of what pride ultimately costs Lily; by not cultivating a relationship with Grace, Lily leaves herself open to attack. It is Grace who blabs to Mrs. Peniston about Lily's questionable activities and, arguably, who costs Lily the inheritance.
