Chapter 13

Angel wakes up groggy and finds that she's in a big old dog crate. It's obvious that she's been taken to the School.
She can hear the thoughts of the other children in the room, who are also locked into cages—they're thinking incoherent things about how she's new and how she has wings.
They also have some kind of animal features, but they look like they might be mistakes.
Angel is wondering where her friends are when a couple of adults in white lab coats come in and peer at her. They're obviously excited that the Erasers managed to grab a member of the flock.
