Chapter 90

  • The kids have never even been to a toy store, let alone one as big as AFO Schmidt.
  • Angel in particular is taken with all the toys and wants Max to buy her a stuffed bear that's dressed like an angel. Unfortunately, the bear costs fifty bucks, and the kids are running out of money, so Max tells her no.
  • Max wanders off and finds an Ouija board that's moving on its own. It spells out, "Save the world, Max." Because that's not creepy at all…
