• Two things happen in this chapter: Brian has to rush inside a burning building (could it be the arsonist?) to save a three-year-old child, and Julia talks to Brian while he's making an omelet about Anna. He says that you're "supposed to love your kids equal, but that's not always how it works out" (4.2.48), and he tells Julia that he wants her to meet someone… but we're not sure who yet.
