The Orange Houses Chapter 28

JIMMI

• At Joe's store, six days before the hanging, Jimmi breaks in and grabs some of Joe's ashes.
• It's not long before the cops show up and arrest Jimmi.
• The cop tells Jimmi he'll write it up as trespassing so he doesn't lose his veteran's benefits, but Jimmi doesn't care all too much.
• The cops let Jimmi shower, which makes him feel all fresh and new, and as he leaves the police station, he's given back his backpack with Joe's ashes in it.
