Grace's aunt and uncle are, by all accounts, very kind people. They raised Grace after her parents died, and she basically considers them to be her parents. But what do you make of the way Grace treats them? Why does she keep postponing a visit? There are probably a lot of reasons, but maybe part of it's because Grace feels like they're "simple" and that they represent the life she's struggling against.
