There's no delicate way to say this, folks: Boult is totally a pimp. He works with Bawd and Pander at the brothel and is in charge of advertising Marina's virginity on the market so the brothel can sell her to the highest bidder. When Marina doesn't cooperate and starts ruining the brothel's business, Boult is the scumbag who threatens to rape her.
