Chapter 11

Einar must take a train to visit the doctor at the radium institute in Rungsted.
There, he meets Dr. Hexler, who examines Einar by poking and prodding around his abdomen before deciding to do an X-Ray.
The X-Ray machine of the 1920s is huge, loud, and clunky.
The process takes a long time, and the longer the noisy machine whirs on, the more nervous Einar becomes.
