Chapter 11
- Einar must take a train to visit the doctor at the radium institute in Rungsted.
- There, he meets Dr. Hexler, who examines Einar by poking and prodding around his abdomen before deciding to do an X-Ray.
- The X-Ray machine of the 1920s is huge, loud, and clunky.
- The process takes a long time, and the longer the noisy machine whirs on, the more nervous Einar becomes.
