• That afternoon, she marches straight into Kamal's office and says she wants to be with him.
• He rebuffs her, saying "It's transference, Megan" (12.32).
• He says he shouldn't have let things get so far, and when she tries to kiss him, he pushes her away.
• On her way home, she plots her revenge.
