Megan
- Megan is mad that her mystery man hasn't contacted her: "I can live without him, I can do without him just fineābut I don't like to lose" (12.3).
- That afternoon, she marches straight into Kamal's office and says she wants to be with him.
- He rebuffs her, saying "It's transference, Megan" (12.32).
- He says he shouldn't have let things get so far, and when she tries to kiss him, he pushes her away.
