Teresa and Marisela in The Moths

By Helena Maria Viramontes

Teresa and Marisela

We're not sure how many sisters the narrator has, but she names Teresa and Marisela in particular. We don't know much about them, except that unlike the narrator, they are good at crocheting and embroidery and always go to church when they're supposed to. Basically, these two are everything the narrator is not, helping cast our main character as an outsider. For more on this, swing by the narrator's page elsewhere in this section.
