George Merry
George Merry is one of Long John Silver's remaining pirates when Silver takes Jim hostage. He spearheads the movement to remove Long John Silver from his leadership position after the Hispaniola disappears. George Merry withdraws his protests once Silver shows them all that he has the treasure map. However, once they follow the treasure map and find that the treasure has all been removed, George Merry rises up against Long John Silver again. It is only thanks to Doctor Livesey's ambush that Silver and Jim survive his attack. George Merry is shot and killed in this final attack.
